First celebrated during the Quantum Innovation Summit 2024, the awards have since become a beacon for recognizing women’s contributions in this transformative field.

Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), was honored with the Femtum Leap Innovation Award in 2024 for her groundbreaking work in quantum technology and cybersecurity. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing the UAE’s position in global technological innovation.

To maintain the integrity and prestige of the Femtum Leap Awards, the 2026 edition adopts a nomination-only model, evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising:

- Leaders in policy, law, and deep tech innovation
